Psychic Ability - How to Activate Your Third Eye

By Tana Hoy

What is Your Third Eye?

Your third eye is located above the point between your brows. Sometimes known as the inner eye or all-seeing eye, it really is the window to your soul. Through your third eye, you can tune in to the higher realms and connect with spiritual beings. "Looking through your third eye allows you to "see" beyond the earthly plane. You are not limited to what is visible to your physical eyes.

Just as everyone has psychic ability, everyone has a third eye. However, the third eye can be blocked or only partially open due to various reasons. This is especially the case when you do not acknowledge it or when it is blocked by resistant energies. But then again, you can always choose to fully open your third eye so that energies flow through it smoothly. There are ways for you to open it!

Your third eye is closely tied to the development of your psychic ability. When you unblock or open your third eye, your psychic ability is heightened. You then experience the benefits of having an advanced psychic ability or a fully activated third eye.

An opened third eye and a continuously developing psychic ability allow you to obtain higher forms of knowledge and a better understanding of them. You will be able to reach deeper levels of meditation and increase the power of your intuition. Since your sight is not limited to what your physical eyes can see, you also achieve clarity of mind and a balanced perspective. Those with an advanced psychic ability enjoy these benefits among many others.

Steps for Unblocking Your Third Eye

You can unblock your third eye, just as you can develop your psychic ability. You can start your practice with the exercise below. Just follow these 7 simple steps and do them regularly.

1. Find a quiet location where you will not be disturbed. Choose a dimly-lit place, or soften the lighting if you are in a well-lit room.

2. Start relaxing your body by sitting down on a chair or on the floor. Feel your shoulders relaxing with your hands resting on your lap or your knees. Keep your back straight, but not stiff. Align your neck to your back so that you are looking straight ahead.

3. Bring your attention to your breathing. Inhale slowly for about 4 seconds, then completely exhale, slowly too, for about 6 seconds.

4. When you have stabilized your breathing pattern, set an alarm for 15 minutes. Place the alarm clock or timer near you, within your reach. (As you get more used to the exercise, you can build up your meditation time to 20 minutes, then 25 minutes, and so on.)

5. After placing the alarm within your reach, place your hands back on your lap or knees and gently close your eyes. As you inhale slowly, shift your focus to where your third eye is - the point above the middle of your brows. Continue breathing with your focus on your third eye.

6. Continue with your slow breathing as you maintain your focus on your third eye. It might feel like your third eye has a slight tingling sensation; just let yourself feel it. This is completely fine.

7. Do not open your eyes instantly when the alarm goes off. Reach out to turn off the sound while keeping your eyes closed. You can only open them when you feel that you are ready to do so.

Do this daily, around the same time each day. The results may not be instant " you wont immediately have an exceptional psychic ability or a fully open third eye - but know that as you do this, you are sharpening your psychic ability and developing a deeper awareness of and connection with your third eye.

With regular practice and perseverance, you will soon experience the remarkable benefits of having an open third eye and of seeing with it. This will also have a huge impact on the development of psychic ability. You will be able to do and achieve more things when it comes to using your psychic skills.

So start including the meditation you learned above into your daily practice. This will definitely help in activating your third eye and sharpening your psychic ability.
