Why The Lemonade Diet Might Be The Answer To Handling Obesity For Good.

By Peter Glickman

There are four main causes of obesity. These are inadequate nutrition (such as from raw vegetables, fruit, nuts and seeds), too little hydration (the body consists of 70% water and needs an ounce of pure water per two pounds of body weight every day), too much toxic foods (such as from processed foods, sugar, white flour, cooked foods), and stress.

The Standard American Diet causes the digestive system to be overloaded and fills the colon with unprocessed wastes that do not get moved out of the body. These putrefying wastes produce toxins that are reabsorbed into the bloodstream and fed to all the cells of the body by way of the liver! This causes a reduction from vibrant good health that is perceived, but is still symptomless from the point of view of conventional medicine (whose practitioners receive only few hours of nutrition education in their 8 to 12 years of medical education).

The elimination organs such as the liver and kidneys are overwhelmed when we consume the Standard American Diet, which can be chock full of toxins, and these organs start to store the toxins in themselves, dramatically reducing their effectiveness even more. Physical and mental symptoms typically result, such as insomnia, depression, constipation, elevated cholesterol, indigestion or fatigue.

The continuing degeneration of the elimination organs leads to chronic degenerative diseases like heart disease, cancer, high blood pressure, diabetes, arthritis, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, etc. The whole body is being poisoned.

Stress, often overlooked, is a huge factor in the formation of a toxic environment in the body, or can aggravate an existing unhealthy situation. Suppressive stress, to be precise, either in the form of another person or a circumstance, past or present, plays a very detrimental role by hampering attempts to detoxify the body.

The simple steps to overcoming obesity include: A) Identify and remove the causes of suppressive stress. B) Reduce consumption of toxic food or eliminate it completely. C) Drink half the amount of your body weight in ounces of purified, clean water every day. D) Limit cooked foods to less than 20% of your diet. Incorporate more raw vegetables, fruits, seeds and nuts. E) Convert to sea salt. Table salt lacks the trace minerals found in sea salt. F) Cleanse the colon so there is no more self-poisoning from putrid, un-evacuated waste. G) Exercise at least every other day to stimulate blood circulation, improving all the organs. H) Cleanse your liver and kidneys.
