Ab Exercises For Women

How can you best shed excessive fat to sculpt the perfect body? The most important area to target for women is excess fat on the stomach, thighs and rear.

An easy, effective, and cheap way to burn off fat and tighten your hips and thighs are exercises such as walking and stair-climbing. This activity can be scaled up to jogging or running as you feel comfortable and does not require any expensive equipment or gym memberships.

For abdominal exercises, crunches are more recommended than the traditional sit-up. Lie on your back with knees bent, cross your arms in front of your chest, and raise your shoulders off the ground, "crunching" your abs.

To maximize the effectiveness of this exercise, raise and lower your shoulders as slowly as possible. Do as many consecutive repetitions as you can, taking a short rest between sets. Work up to performing three sets of as many repetitions as possible.

There are many other exercises you can do to increase this routine, such as leg raises. Varying the exercises help bring results because you are working your muscles in different ways with each exercise.

Working out, however, is only have the battle. You must keep a close eye on your diet so you dont unintentionally negate all your hard work.

Central to achieving the goal of toned abs is keeping a positive mindset and a strict schedule. After only a couple weeks of regular activity, you should see an improvement in your abdomen, but results quickly become increasingly effective. Following these simples rules, you should have a flat stomach in no time!
