Warm baths are another great temporary hemorrhoid remedy. This method will soothe the hemorrhoid and help to free you from pain. In order for this to be effective, you may need to repeat this action several times during the day. A cushion in the tub adds to your comfort; however remember not to stay sitting in the tub for too long.

Lastly ice is an outstanding hemorrhoid remedy. It will help to numb the area and to stop you from feeling pain as well as slowing down the blood flow that is causing the swelling of your hemorrhoid.

While all of these are effective hemorrhoid remedies, they are only temporary and will not cure your problem.
