Yet, each feeling makes the sufferer feel some type of vulnerability, disaffection, and despondency. The depth of the emotions depends on the level of the depression. The feelings can range from the "Monday Morning Blues" to an inability to function, including eating, sleeping, and taking care of basic hygiene.

Allowing for the economic and social upheaval that we are experiencing, a lot of persons are suffering from this illness. Yes, depression is an illness that can be treated.
